Killer Closets

To kick off our Fashion Week coverage, we’ve searched our archives for closets that are stocked as well as they are designed. When organized, a closet can feel like a petite shop filled with everything you love (conveniently in your size!) instead of an abyss of dry cleaner hangers, pieces you haven’t worn in ten years, and mismatched shoes.
Before you go out to pick up this season’s latest trends, spend a few hours ruthlessly editing your closet down to a manageable size. If you haven’t worn it in a year, you should probably get rid of it. While you’re at it, donate that high school prom dress. Combing through every inch of your closet, you may even find a “new” fall wardrobe without spending a dime.
