Lonny Management Intern: Join the Team!

Lonnyoffice
We’re excited to announce that we’re looking to add another intern to the Lonny team. Working directly with our CEO in a position that has the possibility of becoming paid in the future, the management intern will get first-hand experience in a start-up environment.

In addition to learning more about the day-to-day practice of running a business, our management intern will gain experience in the following fields: ad sales, internet sales revenue, and human resources. At Lonny we value hard work, quick thinking, and a healthy dose of sarcasm. For this position we’re looking for an intern who is eager to learn and be a part of a fun, fast-paced team. The right candidate is organized, pays attention to detail, has proficiency in Excel, and is ready to start immediately. This is an in-house internship, meaning you must be able to work in our New York City office. Additionally, the management intern must be willing to commit to a five-days-a-week schedule. A personal laptop is a plus. While the internship is unpaid, it’s a great opportunity to work in a fast-growing and diverse business environment.

In addition to working one-on-one with our CEO, intern responsibilities include:

-Keeping track of schedules and making sure deliverables are received on time

-Setting up appointments, creating a company e-mail list, and booking travel

-E-mail correspondence

-Routine office work (filing, taking notes in meetings, running errands, etc.)

Please send a résumé and brief cover letter to hr@lonnymag.com. Qualified applicants will be contacted for an interview.Thank you, and we can’t wait to hear from you!

Lonny,

I'm a new lover of your mag but if I see one more LV bag in the pictures of the suave homes you showcase, I'm going to barf all over my next digital copy and label it much too corporate lux for me.

Please tell the homeowner to hide their purses in the next shoot. I'm not interested in the jello-molds they've made accommodations for. I'm in it for the unique, the different, and even the scary.

all my love,
y.ung
