Whether you adhere to it or not, the age-old decree that prohibits white after Labor Day is widely known. Lucky for us, this season has introduced a plethora of white options pre-September 5th, and the items lend themselves perfectly to the crisp, minimalist trend that's pervading fashion and decor alike. This color, naturally unoffensive yet striking all the while, provides a lot of room to play with texture, shape, and size. And when translated to the home, it's immune from any of those silly sartorial myths.
