Watercolor Wednesdays: Hamish Bowles
November 3rd 2010
Watercolor Illustration by Caitlin McGauley
Hamish Bowles, the European Editor at Large for Vogue, might be the most impeccably dressed man on the planet. He always wears the most inspired combinations of patterns. He also uses this sensibility in his New York and Paris apartments. They are classic and regal and quirky and playful all at once. Mr. Bowles is an authority on all things style related; he wrote Vogue Living: Houses, Gardens, People, one of the most beautiful books on interiors there is. He's also just curated a Balenciaga exhibition at the Queen Sofia Spanish Institute in New York which I will definitely be checking out.
