Watercolor Wednesdays: Needlepoint Taxidermy

Deerhead
Watercolor Illustration by Caitlin McGauley

If you need a gift for the person who has everything this holiday season, you can probably be sure that they don't have a needlepoint deer head. The unique sculptures are made by Frederique Morrel from discarded pieces of embroidery. Definitely a chic alternative to taxidermy!

I was thinking the same thing as Julie P. This is gorgeous and I would love to buy a print of it and many of Caitlin's other watercolors.
